Class overviews:
Both the morning and afternoon classes use music, movement, free play and reading as learning tools. Learning early technology / computer skills and the ASL alphabet are also incorporated into each class.
3 Year Old Class:
This class focuses on capital letters and number recognition, letter sounds, one-to-one number correlation (how many flowers are there? 1,2,3...), simple patterns, colors, early motor coordination (simple cutting, writing, coloring, and gluing) and the exploration of various topics including safety, pets, the ocean, etc. For more information on class curriculum and schedule, click on the 3 Year Old link.
Pre-K class
This class focuses on retaining letter and number recognition and letter sounds, lower-case alphabet recognition, writing, written name recognition, early reading, early addition and subtraction math skills, and the exploration of various topics including safety, pets, the ocean, etc. For more information on class curriculum and schedule, click on the Pre-K class link.
Pre-K Reading Class
Lets get ready to read! This is an hour and a half class that meets once a week to help prepare our pre-k cuties for early reading. Each week we will learn to love reading with a new book and craft and spliting into leveled reading groups. Contact me for more information.
